The focus of these months was 

• test fitting the Lokar gas pedal

• continued tweaking on the air cleaner

• patching damage, holes, etc. on the underside of the body

• installing the rear splash panels between the rear quarters to the body

• replace stock suspension with the Van Steel offset arms & QA-1 coil overs

• test fitting and clearance checking of the oil pan

• notching & reinforcing the radiator support for the hood actuators

• modifying the right rear compartment depth for the XS Battery

• a little help from Sadie (granddaughter) 

• sandblasting and priming various metal parts

• time for HOK KD3000 primer sealer underneath the body

• molding in the flat firewall opening

• more tweaking and sanding on the inner fenderwell modisty panels

• more polishing on the door sill pieces

• holes in the firewall for the Vintage Air lines

• prepping the luggage retainer panel

• Raptor sprayed inside the body and on numerous parts

• polishing the  aluminum trim on the jewelry box

• test fit of the electric power brake unit

• HOK KD3000 primer sealer in the jewelry box

• test fit of the XS battery and speaker pod

• first wash of the rolling chassis

• Raptored underneath the body and in the fenderwells

• getting the rear differential and offset trailing arms in place

• Raptored attentional parts

• the painting of HOK special blue / purple starts with a black base

• heat insulation added to the transmission tunnel

• mock-up of the engine with air cleaner, headers & sidepipes

• the jewelry box has been painted, cut-n-buffed

• body was removed from the cage and put on the chassis permanently 

• attention to the assembled / mounted body to get panels leveled & gapped

• mounting the doors

• custom hood hinges, test fit and polishing

• building tire stands to elevate the '67

• test fit of the new convertible top frame on the custom decklid

• actuator wiring - with remote controls

• HOK KD3000 primer sealer on decklid, doors and body

• test fitting the window trim & vent windows on the doors

• brought the 502 BB newly built engine back from Norman, OK

• engine mock-up on the run stand
