Saturday afternoon September 13th, 2003 - participate in the Laps for Children's Charity at Texas Motor Speedway.

We were invited by Paul & Mary for a great evening of visiting while we watched Laps for Charity from their Lone Star Condo.  After supper, a little after the sun set, we went down as a group of Vettes to have our own run around the track.

The 3 laps around the track (following a TMS pace car) was at a cost of $25.00. If the three laps are not enough for you or your spouse wants to drive, another $25 got you back on the track for another 3 laps.  After your laps be sure to have your picture taken with your corvette in the winner’s circle (see bottom of page). The picture fee is $10.00. Your pictures will be ready that evening after a small wait.

Corvettes of Texas had several members that joined in the festivities - Cowtown had five - Sonny & Elisa Bransom, Rick Downing, Karen Fowler, Doug & Glenda McMahan, Chris Sullivan & Darlene

Thanks to Mary & Paul for their Hospitality!!!

A view up to the Lone Star Towers - far right lit up Condo is where we started out the evening.

We staged down in the infield, until our turn on the track

And we are OFF!!!!
