Unique GM-Owned Corvettes
Rare Corvettes Lent History to the Event

Fifty years' worth of production Corvettes were on display at the Corvette 50th Anniversary Celebration. But what about the vehicles that didn't make it in to production? What about all those Vettes you have only seen pictures or maybe heard of?

In search of rare, company-owned vehicles, General Motors has opened the vaults, cleaned out the cupboards, searched high and low ... you get the picture.

No matter the catch phrase, the end result was a display of some of the rarest Corvettes in existence. From some of the early creations to the concept Corvettes of the '80s, GM loaded up the hauler and brought its collection to Nashville.

Hopefully this display won't be packed away in moth- balls for another 50 years.
