I am heavily involved in our club, our region and would like to expand my NCCC involvement to the national level, serving as the next NCCC Director of Public Relations

The Coliseum use to be called the Adelphia Coliseum which has now changed to just "The Coliseum".  Nashville and The Coliseum are home to the Tennessee Titans football team.

There were auto displays, tents for Seminars, Vendors, trading pins, etc. all around the coliseum.


 

The 67,000 seat Coliseum, as viewed from across the Cumberland River.

       
The Coliseum entrance was graced with huge Corvette banners - different ones depending on which side of the main entrance you stood on.
       
 

GoodYear Blimps were flying around the Coliseum non-stop

The parking lot was full, including trucks like this one that opened up as on-site stores
       
 

The NCCC Car Show was in one of the Coliseum parking lots

   
       
There were several mini-stages where live bands played both days
       
Several Commercial booths were there promoting their products and services

Now that is the biggest "bowtie" I have ever seen

       

Kids' Corner
And for Our Younger Enthusiasts…

There were a few special activities for the Corvette kids in this area. They could enjoy arts and crafts, race a remote-control Corvette, drive a Vette, take a spin down one of the extreme slides or experience one of the many other activities.

Tour buses were available to take you from your hotel to the Coliseum since parking was limited - they ran every 15 minutes

       
The Cumberland River is used for commerce with tugs pushing barges, as you see here  
     

Chevy "Rockin' on the Riverfront" was held across the river from the Coliseum, on the stage that was at the water's edge. 

This is the stage where The Temptations played on Friday Night - more on that on the Entertainment page
