Bale Chevrolet sponsored the event in Little Rock, AR - it was FIRST
CLASS!!!!
They had a live band playing, southern style BBQ had been catered in and
they gave all the
participants a goodie back with everything from AR literature to a bag of
rice (from AR of course).
It was estimated that 800+ Vettes from the Southern CA Caravan had joined
us there in Little Rock. This meant that tomorrow AM, there would be
close to 1200 Vettes leaving Little Rock for Nashville / Bowling Green!
There were hundreds of
Vettes already there when we arrived
There were so many Vettes coming in that they ran out of parking spaces -
they were stacking them 4 & 5 deep where they could.
Our
'93 was buried in the masses
A very nicely done C2
custom
The C1s, in the early
'60s, like this '61 are still one of my favorites
Another nice '62
this pale blue '61 was
very nice
This
C2 was drawing a crowd - it took a while to get these shots
This '59 was a real
show stopper
This '61 Street Rod
was very nicely done
This
one reminded me of the first Vette I replaced the complete back-end
(door-to-door) on, back
in the late 70's - it was even a yellow convertible
A C3 ('74) Custom
Inside
the dealership, they had this C2 convertible and you'll notice the '78
25th Anniversary in the background
We saw our first
AAT
'03/53 here in Bale - WOW, I was impressed with the concept and results
both!
Looking across the
trunk of the '53 (original) with the '03/53 in the background
