Time to go ride The Tail - we all met downstairs for Breakfast due to the rain instead of across the street at the Pancake House.

Bill had an easel setup letting folks know when & where the Driver's meeting was going to be held.

There were a handful of Vettes that showed up at Pigeon Forge to join us for the ride thru the Tail

The lineup of the 33 Vettes prior to leaving the hotel

The Rain put a little damper on the day but, we were going to ride the tail even with the rain!!!

A rest stop outside of Maryville, TN, just before getting to the Hwy 129 - we kind of took over the convenience store - The manager even got out her camera and took pictures.

As you round the end of Calderwood Lake, on Hwy 129, you get to the last turn-around before entering the tail - the sign tells all!!!

...and FINALLY, welcome to the "Tail of the Dragon"

Glenda took the pictures as we rode the tail - she said it wasn't very easy so there weren't many pictures taken during the 11 mile ride for sovieners.

This is also the Hwy intersection that you headed East on Hwy 28, to travel on to Ashville, NC.

Video still taken from Bill's C5 coming down the Dragon's Tail - see page 2-3 for all videos

A view out of Bill's car looking back as the Dragon's tail whipped around

We picked up a windshield sticker for our Vette as well as a hat pin

About 2 miles before getting to the end of the Dragon's Tail, we stopped at Deal's Gap.
