Bill coordinated a meeting place in Lafayette, TN, complete with the Mayor, local media coverage and townsfolks to come and have a mini-show before we left on our trip. When & Where... "Monday June 30th  9:00am -  East on highway 52 about an hour from Bowling Green and Nashville is a little town called Lafayette, Tenn.  Key Park, in the center of town, is where we shall start our The Corvette Road Trip, The Long Way Home/Tail of the Dragon.  Drive 52, take a left onto  10, come downtown and look for the park... I'm told it's easy.......!!!! Lafayette is really excited about us coming to there small town.  The Mayor is going to meet us and the local paper is going to run a story.....

	We started out here with 29 Vettes leaving from Lafayette, TN
			Our '93 Torch Red Convertible - no other Texans
	This black '61 had 245,000 original engine miles on it and drove from FL to BG and back by way of the Dragon!!!
	Always love to see Our Flag, even on the Vettes
				Don's C5 had several custom and performance enhancements
	Several of the Vettes and folks were from FL and belonged to the Naples Corvette Club - really great group of folks!
