They won't let you take pictures inside the house, so we bought their $8 picture book, which we normally do anyway at places like this.  Below, you will see a few pictures from that booklet, both outside and inside the Main House.

  There are only 30 acres and 9 buildings remaining today out of the 5,400 acres and numerous buildings that existing during the Plantation's peak period
     
The gardens were the domains of the women of the household.
       

These 6 limestone columns are from the Greek revival architectural styling - essential in the Antebellum South. 

The columns do bear scars from the Civil War which was found on these grounds

An 1890 porch on the rear had rosettes from a different architecture style

       
The Carriage House & Stable were the newest buildings of the remaining original buildings - 1892.  They were getting ready for an outdoor Jazz Festival the day we visited so they had all the carriages put up from this normal display arrangement.
