Everywhere you turned, there were surprises, no wonder it is taking so many years to build the Opryland Hotel in Grapevine, TX

In the lobby that we caught the shuttles to the Coliseum you found Bill Wreckman's '65 Vette displayed in one corner.  The "World's quickest street legal Corvette" Weckman Performance - 618/876-1762 - visit their website and see what an 8 second ride is like!!!

Definately no slouch on the Dragstrip either!!!

8:18 ET @ 167 M.P.H @ 3,600 #

They had audio and video (from driver's seat) playing here for you to get the feel for running down the strip in this Vette - great looking Vette as well - best of both worlds, show & go!!!!

The Delta are of the Hotel was the bigger side of the Complex - that we didn't even walk into until Sunday Morning.  By this time, we were on our own, with all of our club members on their way back to Texas.

Very natural looking man-made waterfalls were everywhere.

There was even a river which hosted riverboats like you ride in down in San Antonio!!!

We spent at least an 1-1/2 hours walking thru here and didn't eve explore half of it!!!

They even had dancing fountains!!!
    (Audio-Video Clip)

Wait... did we leave the hotel???  ...no, we just entered an area with several stores

A restored Coke Truck was on display outside one of the stores

And WOW... they even had their own Antebellum Style Home in here!!!!

Glenda even found a couple of friends that wouldn't give her any lip.
