This is where we stayed Thursday thru Monday morning - not our original hotel.

We had reservations at the Sheraton downtown, which were booked last February and fully paid for months back - for Tuesday thru Monday AM.  About 45 minutes out of Nashville, Glenda called them to check on our room - at which time they said they cancelled the room for no-show on Tuesday night.  We had called weeks ago and told them due to trip plans, we were not going to make it until Thursday - but we still wanted the room.  We couldn't adjust the timeframe or cancel nights without canceling the whole reservation, which we didn't want to do.  Anyway, they said no problem, since we had already paid for all the nights months ago - they would make a note in the reservation.

Long story short, Glenda had the Reservations Mgr find us another hotel (since all in Nashville have been booked for months) and after some haggling, Donna came back with us a reservation at Opryland, where Cindy & Bob were staying.

The Information Desk was in the center when you walked in.

To each side, there were reservation desks, with long lines

peeking thru the Lobby, you saw the lush foliage from the Cascades

Bob & I went to park our cars after we checked in... wow, they have a South Forty here too, not just in Texas!!!

Parking was $7 per day

There were some nice vintage street rod Vettes in the parking lot...

...along with a couple of the C5, Retro '53

As you left the Main Lobby, you passed thru the Cascades to get to our room in the Magnolia Section of the hotel
