	50th Anniversary Corvette Collectible Coin. It is a numbered minted - proofed coin in a tin collector's case. Also included is a certificate of authenticity and is licensed by General Motors. The Mint destroyed the dies for this coin in June of 2003.

This is a lapel pin was put out by Goodyear, partners in performance, in Nashville TN, for the 50th Corvette Anniversary

	This is a limited edition pin (1 of 1,000 pressed) and is licensed by General Motors. This pin celebrates the 50th anniversary convention that took place in Nashville, TN, from June 27-28 2003. The Grand Ole Opry logo is prominently displayed in the center of the pin, with the car and the convention dates listed below. The Corvette flag and the name "Nashville" are located at the top of the pin. On the back of the pin card is a description of the Grand Ole Opry and its history and once again lets the buyer know that this pin is a limited edition press of 1,000.

Although styling initially established the Corvette, it was the constant evolution of technology and performance that put the sports car on a par with the elite Europeans. innovation that could be described in two words - fuel injection. In 1957, an enlarged 283cid small-block engine with Ramjet fuel injection boosted Vette horsepower to 283. It was only the second time a Detroit V8 reached the one horsepower per cubic inch milestone. A 4-speed manual transmission also debuted that year.
